Now more than ever, employees, customers and
stakeholders are looking to businesses to make a difference in the communities they serve.
And while we all seek to positively transform our communities, there’s no one “set” formula
for how to make a difference. Each team, each business, each community is different.
But in today’s rapidly changing landscape, how can companies balance their business needs
(including labor shortages and shifting service models due to COVID) with this desire to create
positive change in their communities? And when it comes to their people, what are the most
impactful, most safe engagement opportunities they can offer? Opportunities that build company
culture and inspire next level dedication to the work at hand.
That’s where we come in.
Teams to Community curates unique engagement opportunities (virtual, in-person, small
and
large group, immediate and long-term impact) to help companies and communities connect in ways
that are impactful both inside and outside the business.
We help companies make a difference – true to their values, true to their community.
To create employee volunteer engagement opportunities that allow companies and their employees to affect change in the communities they serve.
To make community engagement a strategic priority in every company, in every community.
As founder and
principal of Teams to Community, Mary Lee Johnson brings
over 15 years’ experience in Impactful
Project Design, Activation and Volunteer Management.
A founding volunteer with Hands on Atlanta, her knowledge of the community landscape is
extensive. Years of designing and leading projects for The Coca-Cola Company and several
national nonprofits has allowed her to acquire a robust skill set that makes her uniquely
qualified to help meet your corporate social responsibility goals.
Mary’s work with volunteers has been featured on ABC’s 2021 Oscar Countdown LIVE show.
She has a sincere passion for making a difference and creating opportunities for others to
do the same – whether it be managing a long-term skills-based program for a team of four or an
in-person activation for a business unit team of four hundred. Teams to Community helps
businesses make a difference.
